...exerting power as an ethical consumer..

"It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little." Sidney Smith

Becoming environmentally friendly is no longer a simple lifestyle choice for humanity, rather the most compelling and necessary challenge that faces the entire planet. Also there is absolutely no doubt that the aspiration to be a force for good motivates vast numbers of people. Stated simply, give us the opportunity to, for instance, recycle household waste and that opportunity is enthusiastically seized. It makes us feel good and gives a sense that we are playing our part.

As ethical green consumers, we can use one of the most potent forces we have to create radical change. Not only do we contribute to a growing economic sector that is based on nurturing and protecting, rather than destroying, the natural world, but also we exert pressure on the "old" which has yet to change. In addition, many of the products available to ethical consumers have themselves been produced with that same intent of doing good, of healing rather than harming the environment. By actually buying these goods, we also contribute to making the sector profitable, encouraging others to do likewise and supporting businesses which are of the future.

To truly be an ethical consumer is not a simple task; rather a journey of awareness. The issues involved are complex. However, the following product links all have some particular feature that we believe is worthy of support.
